Completely refrain from eating and drinking (even water) for 6 hours prior to your appointment.

If you are taking medication that must be taken during the 6 hour fasting prior, take it with just a tiny sip of water.

Please make sure to arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home after your surgery. We cannot let you leave the office unescorted.

When you dress for your appointment, please wear comfortable clothing with short or loose sleeves that can be rolled up past your elbow and low-heeled or flat shoes. You must remove contact lenses, jewelry, and dentures at the time of surgery as well.
